Ultrasonic Testing — Our Core Method

All CIC railway inspections are performed using certified UT techniques

Conventional Pulse-Echo
Single-crystal probes transmit and receive ultrasonic pulses to detect reflectors within the material. Ideal for perpendicular defects in rail and wheel cross-sections.

Angle Beam (Shear Wave)
Probes angled at 45°, 60°, or 70° to detect oblique discontinuities, weld flaws, and near-surface cracking that straight-beam probes cannot reach.

Phased Array (PAUT)
Multi-element arrays with electronic beam steering deliver real-time cross-sectional imaging and comprehensive coverage in a single scan pass.
